Tamworth Writers Group were formed in September 1996 from a group of those who had attended a one year course in Creative Writing held weekly at Tamworth Arts Centre during the Academic Year 1995/96 by Phil Emery MA from Keele University.
They meet between 2pm and 4pm every Wednesday afternoon, to read to each other, discuss literary matters, and encourage each other's work. They have also embarked upon a series of Workshops with visiting authors, with the help of Tamworth Arts Centre.
'The Blue Review' online magazine includes a story by Terry Moore called, 'The Pleasure Trip'. More work by the Tamworth Writers is expected to be posted here in due course.
